I love the holidays.....all of them. But my favorite is Christmas...by far!
But even the most devoted Christmas decorator gets to the point where it is time to take the decorations down. I love all the Santas, Snowmen, Trees, Stockings, Gingerbread houses, Tinsel, Lights...but there is something very nice when all that lovely clutter is packed away.
Kind of like what in most places it looks like outside.
We live in the south....not really the desert, but things are not so green and lush and flowery during the winter months. Most trees have lost their leaves, the grass is a bit brown or maybe just less than green. The days are gray and overcast. Winter has set in, at least for another month.
The house feels....

Clean.....
And maybe a little bit bare....but I still love it!
Bring on Valentine's Day!

I does take awhile doesn't it! To me it always takes much longer to put things away than it did to get them out and set around....*sigh*.....oh well!
